Who this covers

This notice explains what happens to information you share with SGLA throughsgla.co.uk. The data controller is SGLA, based inBury St Edmunds, Suffolk, and you can get in touch through thecontact form.

The contact form

When you use the contact form, the details you enter (your name, business, email address, website address and message) are recorded as an enquiry in Zoho CRM, which SGLA uses to keep track of enquiries and reply to them. Zoho processes this information on my behalf and stores it on servers in the European Union. Submissions aren't stored in a database on this website itself.

I keep these enquiries for as long as needed to answer them and, if we work together, for the duration of the project and a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping. The legal basis for this is legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and, where relevant, taking steps to enter into a contract. I don't use your details for marketing, and I don't sell or pass them to anyone else.

Analytics

This site uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand roughly how many people visit and which pages they look at. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across other websites, and doesn't store personal data that identifies you. Because of this, there's no cookie banner.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel's servers process standard technical data such as IP addresses when delivering pages, in line with Vercel's own privacy policy.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you. Send the request through the contact form and I'll deal with it promptly, and within one month at the latest. If you're not happy with how I've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes

If this notice changes, the updated version will be published here with a new date.
